I am the mom of three tennis players, and yes I had my moment of being the crazy tennis mom. You know the one, you may even be one (or dad). We have to know everything about the game and we believe ourselves to be an expert in almost all aspects of the game. We buy the best equipment, figure out the strengths and weaknesses of every opponent, fix every flaw in our childs strokes, set up the best possible work out schedule for our little athlete. I know you know what I’m talking about. It doesn’t matter that they are only 8 years old, we know what is best and we can teach it to them.
My days of being the crazy tennis mom are over now. No my kids haven’t stopped playing, as a matter of fact my oldest is heading off to play at a D1 college, I just learned to stop being the crazy tennis mom. Now I am just mom, cheerleader and financier of my kids tennis.
It is much more enjoyable this way, and now I can share all the good, the bad and the ugly of the world of tennis as I have come to know it.

Thanks for visiting my blog…just popped in to have a look at yours. Interesting….I was a crazy baseball Mom for many, many years following my son around the country – and the world playing baseball. Great memories that I will cherish forever.
Thanks for stopping by. The time we get to spend together and the memories are the best part.
